Laura Ramirez
Doula
Laura Ramirez is a San Diego native, wife, and mother of two. She is an interior designer by trade with an emphasis in engineering and speaks fluent Spanish. Her passion for birthwork started with the arrival of her first child. The experience not only left her feeling amazingly empowered but sparked a desire to enable other women to feel similarly. For the last two years she has worked as a DONA certified doula in hospital, birth center, and homebirth settings for parents all over San Diego county. Last fall, she added HypnoBirthing practitioner to her skills, teaching with San Diego HypnoBirthing in South Bay. She currently serves as the Recording Secretary for the San Diego Birth Network and the Birth Professional Coordinator for the Birth Education Center of San Diego.
