Cindy Hartshorn

Lactation Consultant

Cindy Hartshorn, IBCLC is a native Californian who is currently in private practice in San Diego County. She is a past board member of the San Diego County Breastfeeding Coalition, and is one of two resident IBCLCs on the KellyMom breastfeeding support group on FaceBook. Cindy's personal journey in becoming an IBCLC stemmed from a lack of support after the stillbirth of her first child. She successfully breastfed her two children for a combined total of 5 years, and continues to work towards normalizing breastfeeding in public, through encouragement and education. Cindy focuses her practice on supporting new families in their home environment, and assisting in the success of their desire to breastfeed.
