Nurse-Midwife
Michele Kazmier is a Certified Nurse-Midwife that started her career right here in Southern California as a Navy Nurse in 1993. She has worked as a NICU, Labor and Delivery and Postpartum nurse as well as a RN Birth Assistant for a birth center before becoming a midwife. Working for the wonderful midwives in the birth center inspired her to fulfill her dreams to become a midwife in 2003. Since that time she has had the opportunity to work in a high risk Perinatologist practice, the birth center and home setting. She currently owns Lavender Moon Midwifery ~ a home birth practice here in San Diego. As a veteran and military spouse as well as a HBAC mama, Michele is most passionate about providing high quality home birth care for military families and VBAC clients.
